20th year at The Great American Race
The 2019 NASCAR season kicked off with another successful Speedweeks at Daytona International Speedway. This year’s event marked our 20th
anniversary producing opening ceremonies for The Great American Race. The team was on site in Daytona for two weeks and produced opening ceremonies for six events leading up to the 61st
running of the Daytona 500.
Our 20th year included the live pre-race concert by Jake Owen on FOX, driver introductions featuring a 172-foot pier that gave fans a chance to get close to their favorite driver, and the National Anthem by 82nd Airborne Chorus concluded with the Fly-By from the US Air Force Thunderbirds.
Our team also hosted two hospitality groups, Freightliner and the NASCAR Business Hub hosted by Comcast Business in our special hospitality units and unique brand experiences. The NASCAR Business Hub featured a custom space for entertaining guests, including cabanas and lounge furniture.
Additional highlights from the weekend included our client Ally’s debut with 7x NASCAR Champion Jimmie Johnson and the No. 48 Chevrolet, whilst the American Ethanol green flag waved in the official start of the 2019 NASCAR season.
