Land Rover pick World Cup mascots

Youngsters chosen for embodying Rugby's core values

Last weekend we helped Land Rover to select three youngsters from Trowbridge, Llandaff, and Marr to be Official Mascots for Rugby World Cup 2019, Japan later this year.
Jack Sharman, Harley Williams, and Noah Barton were successfully chosen by a star-studded rugby panel consisting of Rugby World Cup 2003 winner Lewis Moody, and current internationals Anthony Watson, Leigh Halfpenny, George North, and Huw Jones for demonstrating how they embody the values of rugby during a video audition at a grassroots festival at Bath Rugby’s training ground.

After being selected, the youngsters were presented with a bespoke ceremonial Rugby World Cup 2019 Land Rover cap. The chosen mascots will lead England, Wales and Scotland in the opening games against Tonga, Georgia, and Ireland respectively.
