We transformed the 4.2-mile stretch of the River Thames for the world famous annual boat race between Oxford and Cambridge universities.
The build for this prestigious event took place 6 days before the rowers took to the water in which we produced branding for all the boat houses along the Embankment from Putney to Mortlake. Additionally, we provided over 200 barrier jackets along the slipway in Putney and high banners opposite the river bank that could be seen at the finish line
We were also on hand to install, build and brand the whole of the finish area which included the presentation stage and the photographer’s platform to capture the perfect winning moment and traditional spraying of Champagne!
Around a quarter of a million supporters, alumni, families and friends were in full attendance at the race along the Thames from Putney Bridge, London to see the Cambridge Men’s and Women’s crews row to victory in their races as well as the millions that tuned in to watch the BBC’s coverage of the race.
