We have a range of councils, community groups and networks to ensure our people feel part of a truly inclusive environment. These act as an open forum, aiming to broaden our understanding of different communities, tackle prejudice and help create a more diverse workplace, where we all feel empowered to be the best version of ourselves.
Our Global Diversity and Inclusion Council, chaired by our non-Executive Chairman Seb Coe, drives our approach to the D&I priorities within the business.
Grapevine, our women’s network, aims to inspire the next generation of female leaders across the Chime Group.
Chime Q is our LGBTQ+ Network, offering our people the chance to learn from experts, share personal experiences and build connections across the LGBTQ+ community.
Our Hiring Process
Increasing diversity and inclusion in the workplace starts with a transparent and fair hiring process. That’s why we anonymize all our inbound job applications, through masked profiles. By doing so, we commit to reducing unconscious bias and ensure recruitment decisions are made on the basis of experience in the first instance.
Grassroots is our approach to sourcing entry level talent through non-traditional routes, with the aim of welcoming fresh thinking and new perspectives into our business. We want to open doors to more people from diverse backgrounds.
As part of CSM’s Grassroots program, we recruit for entry level talent through four pillars: mentoring, work experience, internships and apprenticeships. Our goal is for entry level talent to learn and develop for future manager roles.
