We've partnered with adidas to deliver a series of major closed-road running events in London
Together with adidas we’re excited to announce a new series of closed-road running events on the streets of the British capital. Kicking-off on the 8th
October in the historic East End of London, adidas City Runs presents the Shoreditch 10k.
All runners will receive an adidas race day t-shirt, free race photos, chunky finisher’s medal and exclusive discounts at Shoreditch’s best bars, restaurants and hangouts. With all this on offer, competition for places on the start line is expected to be fierce.
adidas City Runs aim to unlock and celebrate London’s most unique neighbourhoods, bringing beginners and seasoned runners together in epic, unforgettable closed road running events. In the coming months, adidas will announce more events of varying distances that will take place right throughout the British capital. It is expected that there will be two adidas City Runs in 2017 and five in 2018, with that number growing in years to come.
adidas City Run has partnered with Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital Charity as its Official Charity Partner. Money raised by runners who take part in adidas City Run events will help to make a vital difference to seriously ill children from across the UK who are cared for at GOSH.
A percentage of all entry revenues will also go to parkrun, adidas City Runs Official Partner, to help them continue to deliver free, weekly, timed 5Ks across the UK, ensuring running in the capital continues to grow.
Entries for the Shoreditch 10k opened on Wednesday 5th
July. Pre-register and find out more at www.adidascityruns.com
