For the second year running, CSM worked with the Jacksonville Jaguars to offer one lucky British Jags fan the opportunity of a lifetime. In conjunction with NFL UK, Visit Florida and @JaguarsUK, a nationwide competition was launched to find a lucky Jags fan to play a pivotal role in this year’s draft. The Jaguars recently extended their commitment to play annually at Wembley and have continued to create unique opportunities for people in the UK, taking the game into school’s across the country and being the first NFL side to take the Draft outside the USA.

Competition winner Hamish Shilliday joined Defensive Tackle Michael Bennett, who flew into London specially, to make the announcement against the backdrop of Tower Bridge. CSM joined the Jaguars team in their London war room, accompanied by Sky Sports News presenter Richard Graves who reported live from behind the scenes as the clock ticked down to the big moment. Michael Bennett enjoyed a few games of Madden on the X Box to calm any big night nerves and to unwind after a weekend spent introducing himself to the UK public. CSM secured a spot on the Sky Sports News sofa for the Ohio native on Friday morning, followed by appearances on Radio X and Talksport that afternoon. On social media, @JaguarsUK used the momentous occasion to launch their Snapchat channel, to build on the success of their 20,000 fans across Facebook and Twitter coming into the weekend.

When the time came, Hamish and Michael did the Jags proud and announced two picks in the 6th round in front of an audience of millions.  The players announced, Tyrone Holmes and Brandon Allen joined what is widely regarded one of the strongest Draft line ups of 2016. The future is looking bright in Jacksonville – as well as here in London.

We look forward to cheering the Jags on when they face the Colts in Wembley on October 2nd.
