Test partner celebrates cricket across the country
It’s been an exciting start to the LV= Insurance Men’s Ashes Series and LV= Insurance Women’s Ashes Test and we’ve been on hand activating across the country during the summer of cricket.
At each test ground, fans have been able to take an AR photo with Ashes Pro’s, including CSM Talent Ben Stokes, Stuart Broad and Nat Sciver-Brunt, at the LV= Insurance Pavilion for the opportunity to win branded merchandise. Not only that, but fans also can take their photo with the official test trophy. For those heading to Old Trafford and The Oval for the remaining tests – why not head down to the LV= Insurance Pavilion for your chance to take part.
LV= Insurance has also been celebrating the historic Women’s Ashes Test – the first five-day test in the women’s game for more than 30 years. Working with Cricket District, we took superstar bowler Sophie Ecclestone to Gedling Colliery Cricket Club, a recipient of a #Funds4Runs grant (a £1million initiative co-funded by LV= and the ECB to help the grassroots cricket), to take part in a bowling masterclass and preview the upcoming series.
We didn’t stop there. On the morning of the LV= Insurance Women’s Test, LV= hosted a Women in Sport Breakfast event which included a panel discussion, hosted by former England captain and broadcaster Isa Guha and featured England great Katherine Sciver-Brunt, ECB’s Director of Women’s Professional Game Beth Barrett and LV= Insurance Sales & Marketing Director Jonathan Mansley where they reflected on the development of the women’s game in the UK, discussed what is still to come and celebrated the journey over the past few years.

Running alongside all that, we also worked with LV= to create a content series, titled Urn It, featuring four current England stars talking through how they have got themselves ready to perform on the biggest stage of them all, The Ashes.
In episode one, Ollie Pope and Heather Knight gave us the inside scoop on how to cope with the mental pressure of an Ashes series, whilst in episode two England opener Ben Duckett discussed the significance of the LV= County Championship in paving the way for him to make an impression on the international stage.
Rounding off the series, LV= sat down with Tammy Beaumont ahead of the LV= Insurance Women’s Ashes Test, with Tammy sharing her excitement at being involved in England Women’s first 5-day Test Match against Australia. You can watch that below.
Well, it’s fair to say she made the most of it. Not content with a double hundred in the pre-Ashes warm-up game against Australia A, Tammy followed that up with another double century in the first innings of the Test. A remarkable innings that provided one of the moments of the summer and will live long in the memory of all those lucky enough to witness it.
