Surprise visit from England pro’s thrills Leicester Electricity CC
LV= Insurance is the Official Title Partner of Men’s and Women’s Test Cricket and The County Championship in England & Wales and we are helping LV= get to the heart of the cricket community this summer.
Entering the second year of its ECB partnership, LV= launched its first major activation at grassroots cricket club Leicester Electricity CC by bringing five England cricketers to surprise the club during an inter-squad game. James Anderson, Mark Wood and Nat Sciver, alongside legends Steve Harmison and Isa Guha surprised the team as coach, scorer, umpires and even made the tea. Watch the video below.
LV= also announced a grant to help the club fund a coach to rebuild their women’s team which dissipated following the impact of the pandemic. The club is a recipient of LV= and the ECB’s #Funds4Runs community initiative which in its second stage will see 4,000 cricket coaches funded with the aim to support 20,000 players from all levels of the game each year.
Across a busy summer of cricket, LV= will activate in-ground at Test matches, visit a #Funds4Runs grassroots session in Somerset ahead of the one-off Women’s Test and announce even more activations to show why they are at the heart of the cricket community.
