Old Mutual Wealth Series

ENGLAND COMPLETE CLEAN SWEEP

As England celebrated a clean sweep of wins from the Old Mutual Wealth Series at Twickenham in November, we were able to reflect on a collaborative success with client Old Mutual Wealth.

To help raise brand awareness of Old Mutual Wealth during the Series, and engage with the advertising theme of ‘Invest in Life’, VCCP Kin released four short pieces of content across a number of social media outlets. Featuring brand ambassadors Lawrence Dallaglio, Chris Robshaw, Mike Brown & Vickii Cornborough, each edit focuses on one of the ambassadors, sharing their advice on different challenges they have experienced at some stage of their career. The series of edits has now received in excess of 250,000 views through RFU & Old Mutual Wealth channels. Sky Sports have released iterations of the ‘Invest in Life’ series across their platforms, with interviews now available ‘On Demand’, and The Daily Telegraph released editorial-based Invest in Life stories of Chris Robshaw and Mike Brown on the day of the Australia and Samoa Tests respectively.

Away from the Old Mutual Wealth Series, we have been busy working with Old Mutual Wealth, delivering two separate streams of additional content for Old Mutual Wealth. Firstly, a ‘Skills Series’ featuring Eddie Jones and some of his senior players has had more than 750k views on Facebook alone. A series of eight Old Mutual Wealth Kids First skills videos are being released monthly across the season, with high levels of engagement within the coaching community, who have since utilised the skills within their coaching sessions. The videos have also been released by Sky’s ‘Game Changers’ during the season, and are also available through Sky’s ‘On Demand’ offering.

Finally, we are producing a piece of ‘Champions’ content each month, where Old Mutual Wealth & England Rugby reward Kids First clubs who have engaged with the initiative and shown examples of best practice in doing so. The latest episode features Moortown RUFC who travelled down from Leeds for a training session at Pennyhill Park, only to be surprised by the appearance of three England players. Owen Farrell, Ben Youngs & Danny Care took part in a coaching session, as well as a Q&A with the children in a truly exclusive experience. Watch out for December’s edit, being filmed at Wigan RUFC this weekend.
