Delivering a spectacular Golf event
In early June, in celebration of the U.S. Women’s Open Golf Championship, held at Pine Needles Resort in Southern Pines, N.C., esteemed golf grip manufacturer Golf Pride hosted a pre-event VIP reception just down the road from Pine Needles at their Pinehurst, N.C., headquarters. Our production team was hired to “build out” the event for Signature Sports Group and Golf Pride. The catch? It would be an outdoor event, to be hosted in Golf Pride’s parking lot.
Creating magic in “unique” locations is nothing new for our Production team, and from concept to completion, our team were able to craft a dedicated event space, complete with multiple bars, seating areas, a gallery wall, and multiple interactive activation areas that felt like it was a permanent installation.
The event was attended by more than 250 VIP guests, ranging from Golf Pride clients to USGA officials and local dignitaries, and was well-received by the client and guests alike. A comment heard multiple times throughout the evening was “I didn’t know it was possible that a parking lot could be transformed to look like this in two days.”
In all, our Production team created 3D renderings of the space, created custom fabricated signage, built a hedge gallery wall and the interactive chipping game activation area, provided layout and décor for the structure interior, along with lighting, audio, and entertainment management for the evening.
