In December, we delivered the internal adidas World Cup Ball Launch in Hong Kong. The event was designed to celebrate adidas’ continued support of the FIFA World Cup, ahead of Russia 2018, whilst also showcasing the newly designed adidas Telstar 18 Official World Cup Match Ball. We were also responsible for managing the subsequent Town Hall event, which provided all adidas employees with a recap of the company’s performance in 2017, as well as rewarding staff with a social event at the end of the year.
Using Hong Kong Football Club as a base, we were able to combine the internal unveiling of the adidas World Cup ball with the more formal business updates at one proficient venue. A range of football activities were on offer for employees to get involved in, and all attendees had the opportunity to see the 2018 FIFA World Cup ball up-close and discover more about its creation. Combining the live Town Hall webcast with a number of World Cup themed games allowed for a suitably relaxed and enjoyable internal event.
In total, 131 employees registered to attend the event, with 76 of those signing up to take part in the football activities on offer.
