CarFest 2018

Vibrant branding makes car-nival weekend look stunning

CarFest, first conceived by Chris Evans in 2012, is an event consisting of two annual festivals that combine classic cars and entertainment. So far, it has raised £10.5million for the BBC’s Children in Need charity while entertaining more than 600,000 attendees.

CarFest North returned to Chester and CarFest South was held in Hampshire this year for two unforgettable events, offering a medley of incredible cars, great food, live music and a rich mix of family entertainment.

Thousands of families, music fans and car enthusiasts descended on the festival, taking a look at and having pictures with over 70 of the world’s best cars, from Chris Evans’ favourites to Formula 1 and Hot Rods. In addition to the cars, many high-profile artists performed live over the weekend. This year, Razorlight, George Ezra, Bananarama, Madness, The Feeling and Billy Ocean all made appearances in Chester and Paloma Faith, Texas, The Proclaimers and Who’s Molly entertained the crowds in Hampshire.

We have been working with CarFest for 7 years delivering all the event branding and making it look fantastic. This year, we provided wayfinding, flagpoles, flags, pylons, marquee headers, hundreds of metres of scrim, PVC banners, photo opportunity backdrops, stage branding and a variety of signs. We also provided the Start Line inflatable arch where all the action on the road kicked off. We will be back next year for two more thrilling CarFest events.
