Building awareness and interest in the Winter Olympics

The PyeonChang 2018 Organising Committee was looking for a partner to create an experience that would showcase the upcoming Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games at Rio 2016 to engage, excite and expand its audience.

We created and delivered a fully-emersive experience in the Pyeonchang 2018 Olympic House, located on the iconic Copacabana Beach, running throughout the Games. Through the use of Virtual Reality, Winter Olympic themed experiential activations, holograms, live performances and appearances from the PyeonChang 2018 Mascot the depths of winter were brought to life in the height of summer.

The activation was an overwhelming success with the PyeonChang 2018 Organising Committee hosted, media attention driven by the unique technology and innnovation that was displayed and the general public engaged and enthused by the experience-first nature of the programme.
