Season Two welcomes fans into the action

Building off the successes of the Athletes Unlimited inaugural softball, volleyball and lacrosse seasons, we helped AU crown a second softball season champion in Rosemont, IL on Monday, September 27.

Athletes Unlimited is a new model of professional sports where athletes are decision-makers and majority stakeholders, and individual players compete to become champions of team sports. Faster play and a new draft and team roster every week are the hallmarks of the innovative new league, delivering next-level competition and engagement where every moment counts.

For the first time in league history, we opened the stadium to fans and drove ticket sales.  Fans experienced a vibrantly designed stadium, high energy game action and fun filled entertainment.  Fan activities included batting cages, community projects, giveaways, athlete trivia and autographs, merchandise, concessions and specially themed game programming.  In addition, we were responsible for providing superb hospitality to these world class athletes during their stay tasked with creating a comfortable and safe environment with special events and programming, catering and transportation.

In addition, we helped Athletes Unlimited secure broadcast partnerships with CBS Sports Network and Fox Sports to showcase some of the world’s best players (including Olympians) for the five-week season. In addition, 15 live games were aired in Spanish on Fox Deportes and were covered in 123 countries around the world.

Beyond helping execute sponsorships with leading brands across industries like Nike, Gatorade, GEICO, and Hyperice, we helped oversee a partnership with Little League and Softball America.  We created co-branded content with Little League that was utilized across both brand social channels and created a new sportsmanship award at the LLSWS.

Finally, our team helped build and curate the premium membership program for AU fans, “The Unlimited Club,” granting avid fans exclusive access and inventive perks like voting on front office decisions and live in-game chats with athletes via two-way cameras. We helped grow The Unlimited Club to over 12,000 fans by the end of the softball season.

We look forward to 2022 as the league continues to expand with more sports and more fans.
