We are excited to announce that CSM has been listed as an honouree in Fast Company’s 2021 Most Innovative Companies list in the Live Events category. Roughly one year ago, sports, entertainment, and live experiences came to a halt as the world collectively hit the pause button. With it, brand after brand cancelled or postponed any and all marketing efforts tied to in-person events. The uncertainty around the industry was extraordinary, but we were fortunate to have a team and client partners who were willing to push forward into those headwinds, seeking creative, new, and innovative solutions to redefine the consumer and fan “experience” across sports, entertainment, and more.


Over the past 12 months, we rallied the live events industry together with Experience Good, a platform designed to share smart solutions and novel approaches ​to ensure the industry could continue to thrive, which has since grown into a coalition of over 30 industry leading agences. We reconfigured our fabrication facility to produce hundreds of sanitation stanchions to create bio-secure environments and shifted a three-day charity walk into a 30-hour live virtual telethon. Our team “dressed” newly empty stadiums with impactful branding to create a better viewing experience for fans and launched new products through virtual keynote events for Fortune 500 companies. We helped brands turn consumers into brand advocates by working with some of the biggest stars in sports. And, we supported leading properties in navigating their return to play strategies, while also working with a groundbreaking new sports league to bring their revolutionary model for pro sports to market despite the obstacles of the pandemic.


Innovation has been more important than ever for us and our client partners, and while we are all more than ready to return to some semblance of pre-pandemic normalcy, 2020 taught us the benefits of agility, resilience, and looking ahead for never-been-done-before solutions. We will carry those lessons forward in all the ways we build community and unite fans, audiences, and consumers through innovative, extraordinary experiences.
