Busy June for our live team

The summer is here, and our Live team have been involved in delivering a number of iconic and exciting events this month. From dressing the forward-thinking Scandinavian Mixed golf event in Sweden, to installing branding at the historical Epsom Derby over the Platinum Jubilee weekend, the team has gone above and beyond to deliver sporting experiences for fans and clients that will live long in the memory.

June also saw the beginning of the international cricket season with a Test Match series against New Zealand (spoiler: it ended well for England this time), the inaugural Jakarta E-Prix and more. Here is your breakdown of what the Live team has been up to in June.

Epsom Derby

After beginning its partnership with Cazoo to install branding and sponsorships for the prestigious Epsom Derby in 2021, the team were privileged to deliver branding at the event again this year – and over the Platinum Jubilee weekend no less!

The work the team delivered over the bank holiday weekend included producing and installing every element of branding across the event to showcase the online car retail brand Cazoo. In the end, the branding at the event was felt across the whole royal occasion, leading to a fabulous day out for those who attended the historic racing event.

LV= Insurance Test Match Series vs New Zealand

The cricket season has arrived, and with it has the opportunity to showcase the incredible work our Live team deliver to a nationwide audience. First up on the schedule this year was the LV= Insurance Test Match Series against New Zealand. Taking place at Lord’s, Trent Bridge and Headingley, we worked diligently to dress and install event branding across all the venues – creating a brilliant back drop for England’s impressive 3-0 series win. This included producing and installing sponsored boards, branded boundary sections and more.

This Test Series was just the first project and the start of a busy for the team who are currently looking ahead to an exciting summer of domestic and international cricket across both men’s and women’s competitions.

The Scandinavian Mixed

Across all the events the team worked on throughout June, the Scandinavian Mixed golf is one of the events we took huge pride in being involved in. Staged in Sweden, this forward-thinking event was a joint Ladies and Men’s event with a 50/50 split of DP World Tour and LET players.

Our Live team worked at the event to produce and install branding for sponsors Volvo, ensuring the tournament looked fit for such a progressive and inspiring showpiece. Excitingly, the tournament was eventually won by swede Linn Grant, who can now claim she is the first female player to win on the DP World Tour and will hopefully inspire a new generation of women to get involved in the sport.

The Jakarta Formula E

 Since 2014, we have delivered the branding for the FIA’s Formula E events around the world. In June, the partnership took them to a whole new country and circuit. In new conditions, the Jakarta E-Prix was a great success as the team managed to deliver branding, wayfinding and signage for the event that looked spectacular for both TV viewers and spectators at the circuit.

The work the team produce for the Formula E continues to evolve and develop as the race continues to expand into new territories, so don’t miss out on the chance of seeing the fantastic work they deliver on TV.


June also marked the beginning of the tennis grass court season and our first ever partnership with the LTA to deliver branding, wayfinding and signage for the Cinch Championships and Rothesay Classic Birmingham. The team adapted to this new challenge and scoped, produced, installed and de-rigged all elements of branding at the two competitions.

In the build-up for Wimbledon, both events were crucial for the players to hit form and fitness, and the Cinch Championships held at Queens Club, London was broadcasted across the country on the BBC. As a result, the excellent work the team delivered in producing the event Look and Feel and court branding played a crucial part in the success of these summer tournaments.

 Coventry Building Society Arena

Earlier this year, the team also completed the massive task of installing the Coventry Building Society roof signage. The project was the product of months of design, planning and logistics preparations, and brings the stadium to life with some incredible, innovative branding.
