Stars Align workshop inspires young Americans

We partnered with Coca-Cola and the Boys & Girls Club of America to engage core multicultural communities for this year’s MLS All-Star Game in Washington DC. Through the “The Stars Align” design contest, we developed a three-week long creative workshop which gave youth participants aged 13-18 the opportunity to learn about the creative design industry and develop their own unique design inspired by Coca-Cola and this year’s MLS All-Star Game theme, colors and textures.

Alongside Project Create Arts Center in DC and their team of designers, participants developed designs for the contest and submitted them to a panel of judges. The winner of the contest was selected in the final week of the workshop and had the opportunity to see their design drop at the MLS All-Star Beats, Cleats and Eats event on July 15.

In addition, we partnered with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Washington to coordinate a Watch Party at the winning designer’s home club in Manassas, and Coca-Cola gifted the contest winner two complimentary tickets to watch the Game between MLS All-Stars and Arsenal live at the stadium on July 19.
