Analysing the potential impact of the Miami Grand Prix

The City of Miami Commission has voted in favour of plans for a Formula One Grand Prix to be held in downtown Miami from the 2019 season. This will become the second US-based Grand Prix on the calendar, alongside Austin, Texas.

While exact timings for the Miami Grand Prix will be decided following further discussion between Formula One, the International Automobile Federation (FIA) and the Miami authorities, if approved, the inaugural race is expected to take place October 2019.
