Another successful activation at the London Marathon 2018
Over the last month, our Lucozade Sport team have been busy activating their longstanding partnership with the Virgin Money London Marathon, concluding the 2018 campaign and finalising the launch of the 2019 campaign.
In the build up to the race, the team were at the London Marathon Expo showing runners how the Lucozade Sport MadeToMove app can turn steps into prizes. The activation drove a 6500% increase in download activity across the course of race week.
On race day, an army of volunteers helped Lucozade Sport provide more than 350,000 bottles and gels on the hottest race day ever for participants, followed by hosting 50+ Lucozade Sport VIPs at our London office.
For 2019… Lucozade Sport will be giving people the chance to find out if they’ll be taking part in next year's run, before anyone else, as they give away 100 places for the race with a competition running for 26.2 days from 7th May.
