Promoting the 14th edition of club football's biggest tournament
We began working with the FIFA Club World Cup UAE 2017 Local Organizing Committee (LOC) in January to promote the 14th edition of club football’s biggest tournament.
For the host Emirate, Abu Dhabi, this tournament plays an important role in cementing the UAE’s reputation as a world-class sporting destination and in celebrating the nation’s love for the game. We have been delivering the PR and communications campaign for the local and international markets. Since the start of the campaign we’ve worked with the tournament’s LOC to launch the official emblem, the mascot and in August marked 100 days to go till the tournament. To celebrate the milestone, the UAE Women’s National team joined together to form a giant ‘100’ on the pitch at the UAE Football Association Headquarters. The FIFA Club World Cup UAE 2017 is the highlight of this winter’s sports calendar, as the likes of Real Madrid, Pachuca and Auckland City arrive in the Middle East to compete for the title.
