Transforming the One World Observatory
In November, we transformed the environment at One World Observatory into a Winter ONEderland this holiday season - creating a new festive tradition for families visiting New York City in November - January.
A “Winter ONEderland” opened Friday, November 17th at One World Observatory. The interactive, visually enticing experience begins with an introduction to Ollie, the snowy owl. He appears in various animation displays highlighting his travels to landmarks around the world—all leading him to One World Observatory. Guests then take a ride in the elevator where they are encompassed by a visually stimulating time-lapse video featuring a snowfall adorning the evolving New York City’s skyline from the 16th Century to the present.
Once guests arrive upstairs, the installations also include a larger-than-life snow globe designed for the optimal selfie enveloped with the iconic NYC skyline and a hub for Santa which invites guests to pose for holiday pictures with the beloved Christmas icon.
Stop by and check out the Winter ONEderland before it ends on 7th January.
