Ryder Cup 2018 branding
The Ryder Cup is golf’s most iconic event, and the European Tour wanted us to reshape its look and feel to deliver a visually spectacular tournament for the thousands of spectators in attendance, as well as a global TV and social media audience.
What we did
To elevate the Ryder Cup brand, and that of its sponsors, we created a sea of blue across Le Golf National, situated just outside of Paris, helping set the stage for a terrific tournament. Careful consideration to TV coverage was made, ensuring our extensive on-course branding was also visible to those viewing from home. The branding elements we delivered were all-encompassing, including but not limited to: tees, 1st & 18th Grandstands, wayfinding, on-course giant screens, flagpoles and the opening and closing ceremonies.
We also designed and delivered the fitout of the European and American players’ facilities, the fan park in Central Paris and the iconic pre-tournament PR event, where the captains teed off against each other from the Eiffel Tower, no less.
