Community and grassroots rugby

As the birthplace of HSBC, Hong Kong is a key market for the bank, which leverages their sponsorship of the Hong Kong Sevens to build brand warmth amongst the local community.

HSBC wanted to engage the local community and showcase the bank’s commitment to developing rugby and its beneficial values in Hong Kong.
We worked closely with HSBC on their newly launched HSBC Try Rugby programme; a grassroots initiative in partnership with the Hong Kong Rugby Union and the Education University of Hong Kong.

Launched just ahead of the Hong Kong Sevens in 2017, the three-year programme aims to educate PE teachers with the knowledge and tools to bring Rugby Sevens into more local primary schools across Hong Kong.
